Murray High Arts Fest-What A Blast!

Well, I'm back. I spent yesterday at Murray High School's fourth annual Art's Fest. They invited several local artists to demonstrate their work and sell it at the event. I had such a great time showing the students how to put together the accordion albums. I'm hoping to be invited again next year. It's fun to get back into the High School scene....and not have to be a teenager all over again.

Okay...I'm trying to figure out which one is the High School student in the picture! I'm guessing you are on the right because of the short hair (I think it is cute)...but I know I love long hair too. By the way that is such a nice thing you did for the students.

Nope, I am taking the picture. Both girls in the photo are HS students.

Your post made me a bit homesick. I lived in Murray for about ten years and later Stansbury Park out in Tooele County. You should try to get a booth in the Tooele Arts Festival. I don't know if any spaces are left this year. The festival is at the end of June each year usually the same weekend as the Salt Lake City Festival. The booth rent is less and your customers don't have to pay to get in. Anyway facing my first summer in Arizona and kind of wishing I was back in Utah.
